Historical Maps

A series of large-scale maps of Datchet will be posted here, partly to help with house histories as well as for general interest. The first two are available now with several more in preparation up to the 1960s and 1970s, but after these dates O.S. maps are still under expensive copyright.

The first one was surveyed locally for parish purposes, while the Ordnance Survey large-scale series starts in 1868 with the folding hand-coloured map given to us recently.
